Omar Al Madhi is the Chairman at TASARU. With over 15 years of experience, he has led diversification strategies in his previous roles, expanding into new sectors and geographies.
He is currently Head of Direct Investments within the Public Investment Fund (PIF) MENA Investments Division, overseeing PIF investments in key strategic sectors. He also holds the positions of Chairman, Vice Chairman, and Board Member at several other companies throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
Formerly Senior Managing Director and Board Member at Abdul Latif Jameel Investments, he held leadership positions at Volkswagen Group Saudi Arabia, was Assistant Deputy Governor at SAGIA, Research Engineer at Saudi Aramco, and Associate at McKinsey & Company.
He holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering Degree from the university of Pennsylvania and an MBA from MIT Sloan and has been recognized as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum.
